GMO's?

Fact for the Day: All GMOs are not bad. I know the term "GMO" invokes poison and death, but MOST foods that have been genetically modified are fine.("ooooh! what you say!?? This man crazy!...that's not what I heard gurlll...) You need to be informed on which foods are GMOs (and yes, it's ARE GMOs, not HAVE GMOs), how they have been modified, and then make the decision if it is beneficially or not. There are some, like GMO (RoundUp Ready) corn, that I tend to shy away from. This is established by taking Corn + DNA from soil bacteria that is naturally immune to RoundUp herbicide + e.coli bacteria + soil bacteria that causes tumors in plants (which enables the plant’s cell wall to be breached) = RoundUp Ready Corn....with built in bug resistant pesticide! Yeeeaahh....NO. But foods like strawberries and tomatoes that are injected with fish genes to protect the fruit from freezing, I'd eat. The issue with most when it comes to GMOs is not forcing genetically incompatible organisms (strawberries and fish) to merge to produce a successful breed, it's the induction of chemical herbicides and such. Just be wary. The end result is not progress in these cases.....it's profit.
