Sloppy Joe Potstickers
- 1/2 lb hamburger
- 1/4 cup raw ground sausage
- 1/4 bell pepper minced
- 1/3 sweet onion minced
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1/3 cup ketchup
- 1 to 2 tbsp red wine
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp dry mustard
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 tsp chili powder
- 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- pinch CWG Pink Himalayan Seas salt
- pinch CWG No Salt Onion black pepper
- 1/2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1/2 tsp sriracha
- 1/4 cup shredded cheese
- Wonton noodles
- 1/4 cup chicken stock
- water
- 1/2 tbsp butter
Add 1 tbsp butter and olive oil to pan. heat and add onion, peppers and garlic. Cook until softened. Remove from heat and add hamburger and sausage. Cook until browned and crumbled. Drain and add vegetables back to pan. Add ketchup, red wine, brown sugar, mustard, chili powder, smoked paprika, worcestershire sauce, red pepper flakes, tomato paste, sriracha and salt and pepper. Mix well and Cook for 3 minutes. Add Cornstarch and cheese and mix well. Remove from pan. Prepare each wonton by placing on a flat service and filling the center with a small amount of the meat filling. Wet edges of wonton and fold corners together to close wonton into a purse shape. Pinch edges closed. In Hot skillet, add 1/2 tbsp butter. Place wontons on bottom of pan and cook without moving wontons until bottoms of wontons are slightly golden brown. Pour in chicken stock, lower heat to low and cover pan. Allow to simmer for about 6 minutes, or until liquid is gone. Serve.
Dipping Sauce
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp sriracha sauce
- 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp dry mustard
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- 2 tsp chicken stock
Bring all ingredients to low simmer. whisk together and serve.
