Teriyaki Salmon

Teriyaki Salmon

  • 1 large Salmon filet
  • 1/2 tbsp Cooking With Greens Go To Seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp minced fresh ginger
  • sesame seeds
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1/2 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  •  1 tbsp water

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Ina small bowl, combine ginger, soy sauce, water, honey and brown sugar. Whisk all ingredients together. Heat vegetable oil n a small saucepan and add garlic. Cook for 4 minutes and whisk in sauce. Bring to low simmer for about 5 minutes, whisking continually  until sauce slightly thickens. Create a slurry by mixing the cornstarch and 1 tbsp water. Slowly whisk into sauce to thicken about 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Place Salmon filet skin side down onto a large piece of foil. Spread the Cooking with Greens Go To seasoning onto the salmon. Brush on the Teriyaki sauce. Save about a tablespoon to glaze salmon during serving. Tent the foil around the salmon and place foil on a baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes and serve immediately.

* Double or triple sauce if you wish to have extra for rice or to toss vegetables in.
