- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 green onions diced
- 1 onion diced
- 1 can (8oz) water chestnuts diced
- 1 tbsp hot sauce or sriracha
- 1 tbsp of fresh ground ginger
- 2 tbsp of lite soy sauce
- 1 tbsp of rice wine vinegar
- 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- salt and pepper to taste
- Lettuce (any variety...we used bib lettuce)
I large saucepan cook olive oil and ground chicken until brown and broken up. Add onions, garlic, hot sauce, ginger, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, and hoisin sauce. Cook until onions become translucent. Add water chestnuts and diced green onion. Cook 2 additional minutes. Salt and pepper to taste. Serve in lettuce leaves. Enjoy!
