Honey Soy Shrimp
- 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 whole lemon squeezed
- 1 pinch pink himalayan sea salt
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 5 florets broccoli quartered
- 1 tsp olive oil
In bowl, combine honey, soy sauce and lemon and whisk. Pour 1/2 of mixture in another bowl and add shrimp to marinade.
Heat oil in saucepan and add shrimp allowing to drip (throw away excess marinade). cook until slightly pink. Remove shrimp, pour out any liquid and add remaining sauce to pan. Bring to boil for 3 minutes. Add garlic and salt and reduce heat. Let cook until sauce is reduced. Toss in shrimp. Toss in broccoli. Serve over rice. Garnish with toasted sesame seeds or green onion.
