Egg Foo Young

  • 6 eggs beaten
  • 1/2 lb pork, chicken or shrimp chopped small
  • 1/2 sweet onion chopped
  • 1 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp Cooking with Greens No Salt Onion Black Pepper blend
  • 1 tsp Cooking with Greens Go To Blend
  • 2 tsp sugar
  •  2 tsp low sodium soy sauce
  • 3 Tbsp shredded raw cabbage or bean sprouts
  • Cooking oil

Mix all ingredients in bowl and fry in pan, spooning enough for a pancake sized patty, browning on each side. Drain on paper and serve atop rice and brown sauce

Brown Sauce

  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 dash of sesame oil
  • 1 Tbsp cornstarch 
  • 6 Tbsp water
  • Cooking with Greens No Salt Onion Black Pepper to taste

Add all ingredients to small saucepan and simmer for 10 mins until thickened slightly. Taste and reseason. Serve atop Egg Foo Young Patties.
