Sweet Chili Dipping Sauce

  • 1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp tomato paste
  • 2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 1/2 tbsp water

In a small saucepan, heat vinegar, water, tomato paste, sugar and pepper flakes. Bring to simmer. Cook until sugar has dissolved. In a small bowl, combine cornstarch and water into a slurry. Slowly drizzle some of the slurry into saucepan until thickened. Serve.
